Early dinner at 1600. Nice and peaceful. This place is usually pack and noisy during dinner time. The lamb is still as good. Cold dish is addictive . The squid is succulent . Veg a bit dry today. Dumpling filling is swimming under the skin but taste good. Some of the items was delisted . The corn sausage was a con and taste full of starch 🤭 the onigiri was nice but must eat immediately . The black pepper wings salty nothing but salty . Love the plum drink.
No rice :”( the jasmine rice is damn nice even though it 2.50 I want the rice 😢

Previously, I went to the Geylang outlet, but this time I tried the Bugis outlet for the second time. After 10 PM, there was a 50% discount. Since it was supper time, we didn't order high-end food, but the dishes were still delicious. The lamb skewers were $0.9 each (though they were average in taste), but the grilled mushrooms and grilled beef tripe were delicious. The grilled oil lettuce was also very tasty.
Food was good, partly a great idea, the service was like Berlin...dry and fast^^
The烤串is very nice with the powder . I don’t like it that they don’t separate the spicy and non spicy ones. I don’t take spicy food but they mix everything together and it was hard for me and my friend to identify which was the one we ordered. They served the pork with chilli and when I asked them about it , they said they served it alr which they didn’t . Bc my friend also ordered pork ;-; but they got me replacement but they way they talked to me was like they actually served it and they didn’t got the order wrong
All the grilled skewers are good. Grilled bread is also nice. Orleans chicken wings are nicely marinated and grilled. End your meal with the grilled pineapple which is nicely cameralised, sweet and juicy.

Good place for chuan chuan...Pricing wise it's slightly above averageFood quality is good, match the pricingAtmosphere is on point, aircon is not exactly cold but decent enough. Toilet is very clean, there's 2 toilet, so it's female friendly as most places have dirty toilet.Food wise portion is not alot, you just have to order. For guys that are slightly bigger eater, be prepared to spend about 50-100 per pax including gst, it's similar to HDL pricing.Along this street there's many other competitor shops that sell the same thing, will take time to try then out.I will return to this place again to try other dishes.Parking is a challenge, recommend to park at Bugis or national library and walk over.Best dish I would think it's the chicken wing.
affordable, delicious and good service to eat chuan chuan at this restaurant. been here to eat numerous times and always left feeling satisfied and satiated. restaurant was packed on weekend night but we got a table immediately.i personally felt that there was minimal difference between the spicy and non-spicy skewers, and the spice is quite mild. as someone who doesn’t take spice well, i would recommend to just get spicy for better flavour. do check this place out!
Average Chinese BBQ. The beef skewers on apple wood are tasty. Dishes are hit and miss. Lamb chops are too fatty and lack flavor. The vinegar spinach with peanuts was quite nice. I’d give it 3.5 stars if only google reviews would allow us to give more precise ratings! 🙂

It was a nice experience. Just if you wanna stay late, better choose the right location as they either close early or late depending on location.
The food is consistent, maintaining a high standard across various outlets. The staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming. However, one drawback is the noise level, making it challenging to have conversations, especially with children playing nearby in addition to the restaurant music. Despite the noise, the music adds to the overall ambiance, creating a lively atmosphere that's perfect for casual hangouts with friends!I missed their 冷面 so much though they have removed it from their menu for few years! I'm still hoping that it will appear on their menu again someday!!
Everyone knows bbq box. The best part about their biz is the consistency. Every outlet is pretty much the same standard of food.Great place for a friday night out bingeing with friends.Oh, order the squid tentacles(not the other one, TENTACLES), they are amaaahhhhhzing
Comfortable atmosphere, if want get BBQ stick really can consider just sticking to one where you know its consistent.That's why me and my cousins always come here. Its good place, price point a little high but you pay for the taste and atmosphere la. Theres quite a lot of customers but somehow it doesnt feel dirty/over crowded.If feel too heaty, can get the Liang Cha. I always drink like 3 cans cause I very easy bu zhua. Nice place for dinner and chill

Skewers 串串and 酸辣粉 were goood, but didn’t like the long beans. Wished the soups were hotter, and stayed hot for long. A perk of bbq box is the hot plate that keeps skewers warm for a while. But the price is not super worth..
Food is good and atmosphere also good. But the service for food is abit slow and toilet is abit dirty should we improved.

Went there for late dinner on Tuesday night was not crowded. Food service was fast. Food was rather good will be great if there are more selection other den bbq food.
My favourite place for BBQ skewers. All food is awesome, friendly and helpful staffs, atmosphere is fantastic. A must come place to have your bbq.
Very good array of skewers available including off cuts like innards and intestines which were also well done in terms of texture and taste. Expect to queue during peak hours but has a digital queue system.
The service and the food here was great, and the spices were really fragrant. The meat was very nicely marinated, and if you go during the afternoon the vibes are pretty chill.

Yummmms! Must order the Spicy Pumpkin Fish (comes with dongfen and enoki) and the Cold Dish Enoki! Tons of Skewers options available, taste wise okay but need more seasoning. Love it that the skewers were all kept hot! Bubble tea super shiok, pearls were soft and chewy!

Great service, food is above average and atmosphere is really dependent on individual taste.
Previously was at the East Coast outlet, tried the Bugis outlet this time. Did not choose any premium options (the difference was the kind of topping on the meat) but food was still good! Each stick was $1.60 on average. The waiters don’t ‘introduce’ the meats so we had to deduce ourselves if we were eating beef/pork/mutton.The mutton was very tender and we enjoyed it the most! Shishamo (fish) was also enjoyable, very nicely grilled. The bun was v generous and lightly salted, which I enjoyed. Nice vibes, got crowded after 7pm.
Bit pricy for the portion. All of their meats are well-seasoned. Premium chicken seems to be thighs while regular chicken is made of breast. Both tasted differently. Squid is alright, abit expensive for the size. Need to heat up a little while as it’s served a little cold.
A little hot in here. The food is great. Love their oysters and scallops, garlic bread!
Can skip the pig trotter. Spice is not enough and not crispy enough. Fav is mala pork skewer, chicken wing, toast bread, lala soup
First time there during lunch time, not that crowded. Like their food and they do have the BBQ plate on each table therefore the bbq skewers will place on top and food still be hot even if u eat later. Although varieties not as much but overall i will still go as it is a nice place to eat 烤串. I love their potatoes, toasted bread, 凉拌面, will go try more next time. Best to make reservation as dinner time and weekends normally fully book.
Great food, the premium lamb skewer, black pork, scallop, oyster, grilled bread and potatoes are especially nice and suits my taste...Chicken wing is over-seasoning, not recommended

I finally have a change to try China-style grilled skewers. They serve a smorgasbord of choices - 50 type of skewers (note: I order more than 20 types of them) that served with grill-box-on-the-table. They also include other dishes, e.g. Shredded cucumbers, cold noddles, cold bean curd, etc.; and wide variety of beers (note: I took green tea instead… too many oily foods 🙃). Well, my favourite food: grilled beef tendon, baked sweet corn, grilled enoki mustard, grilled potato chips,grilled premium lab ribs and many more…The place environment is decent. But, the service is good as the staff are friendly and they are able to converse mostly Mandarin and understandable English. The orders usually take about 10 minutes waiting time which deserved a 4-star from me.
Didn’t actually come here for the skewers but actually had cravings for suan la fen! Their SLF packed a punch! Ordered some normal skewers to try and this fish soup vermicelli which was good as well. Their scallops were well seasoned.The seasoning is less saltier compared to the ones I had from other places.Would love to come back and tried their meat skewers next time.
Skewers are delicious, but waiting time can be quite bad especially during weekday dinners. Might help to call in about 30mins in advance to ask for a ticket queue.The scallops are a must order everytime we visit and the leftover chilli and oil, are great additions to a bowl of white rice.Lamb chops are tender and flavourful as well, but portion might be alittle too overwhelming for 2 pax.

On May 15, 2024, my partner and I visited BBQ Box around 5 p.m. As regular patrons, we've had 2 unfortunate experiences before, and after addressing them with the staff last year, we decided to give it another chance.This time, however, we faced the same issue again. We ordered our usual BBQ skewers and BBQ bread. Unfortunately, the BBQ bread had a raw fish taste, indicating it was cooked on a grill used for raw fish as the bread has absorbed the raw fish taste. My partner had to spit out the bread, and we immediately raised a complaint with the staff. This issue had occurred during our previous visit as well, where we had informed them that cooking bread on the same grill as raw fish could cause cross-contamination and make the food inedible.Additionally, we encountered another problem with the BBQ gizzard skewers, which we also regularly order. This time, the gizzards had a strong durian smell and taste, which was highly unusual and unpleasant. We raised this issue with the staff as well, who took the gizzards to inspect. Given that the gizzards and bread are items we frequently order, they should not have any cross-contamination with durian or raw fish.We are deeply concerned about the recurring cross-contamination issues at BBQ Box. The repeated failure to address these fundamental food safety practices not only compromises the quality of the food but also poses potential health risks to customers. We urge the management to take immediate corrective actions to ensure proper hygiene and prevent such issues from happening again, we paid for the meal and did not continue eating.As we were walking to our car after the incident, the manager and staff approached us and offered a $100 voucher as an apology. Unfortunately, we did not accept this gesture. Instead, we demanded that their higher management contact us within three days from the date of the incident. Despite the manager informing us via text that she had relayed our concerns to them, we received no response from BBQ Box's higher management.This lack of response clearly indicates that they do not care about the incident or take any action to address it.
This is my first time at this branch. Probably about 10 years? Used for. After all, mutton is delicious. In the past, people could add as much spice as they wanted, but now they don't have that freedom. Even so, I always think it's strange that even though all the skewers have the same seasoning, they never get boring.
Food is served timely and they are all very delicious. Staff are very helpful and prompt.
Second time coming here, Highly recommend the pork skewers do not recommend the chicken, the vegetables here are also very crispy and crunchy, and the staff are also very friendly. Overall highly recommend this restaurant for meat skewers.
Fun place for dinner or supper. Be careful not to order too many skewers as the cost really starts to add up! Drinks on the pricey side but really adds to the BBQ experience.
Go to supper place! The grilled toast is a must-try(pls ordered without the egg one) and the ban noodle!

1st time trying this form of BBQ n loved it. Food was cooked by staff n put out on our hot bbq box to be kept warm. Delicious veg n mushrooms. Sat outside, cosy on a cool day.
First time eating at BBQ box for classmates reunion. Manage to be allocated a hidden private room for my group of 11 at the back of shop. Food taste nicely marinated and grilled properly. Just a little bit tight on seats space as the tables should fit only 10 persons.

Food tastes nice. Prices are reasonable. Recommend the mushroom skewers, and crushed cucumbers salad.

Not my first time here.Service is awesome!Very attentive and friendly staffsHowever, the standard of the food seems to be not as good as the previous visit.Nonetheless the service makes up for it!There is also a 5% discount offered for google review. They did not enforce to see the review nor did they insist on 5 stars review like some other places I have encountered.
Was deciding between the branch in geylang or bugis. Made the right choice to come to geylang. But parking was difficult. Recommended if you drive, park at the MSCP behind the frog porridge, near kallang MRT.Food was nicely cooked, service was prompt and there was space immediately. Take the alfresco. It isn't stuffy or hot as there are overhead fans above every table. They have lighted insect repellent sticks so we weren't attacked by any mossies.
Good place with great food. Great for casual meetups with friends. Location is a bit inconvenient to get to and parking is difficult nearer to peak hours.
Wonderful dinner place with many options for everyone. Predominantly a meat place, but the potato slices and bbq vegetable are a hit with the kids too. Beers are relatively value for money when bought in pair bundle.

Cozy and comfortable place to chill and hangout with your friends, I would say even safe to chill solo . Food is nice , beer is perfect and food serve very quickly. All is all , i live the ambiance.
I suppose its this area (Geylang) that has alot of China's Chinese, the restaurant food tends to be very oily here, not the usual SG way of cooking.The 凉拌黄瓜 is so oily till i have to keep cleaning my plate and after we finished the dish, I can see at least 4-6 tablespoons of oil left in the bowl.The meat skewers are also on the salty side, doesnt align with our health promotion board campaign "Healthy eating - less oil, less salt".3 of us ordered 2 veg, 1/2 grilled fish, grilled oysters, 4 sticks of meat skewers, 3 lettuce skewers n 1 mushroom skewer + 2 beers, the bill came out to be about $135, i find it abit costly for such place
Been here few times and each time we enjoyed ourselves. Love the service of a staff name XueLi.Every time she serves, she will mentioned the name of the dish. So far only XueLi does that.Today, we visited again. As usual, she highlighted what she served to us and when I asked for extra spices on the food, she went extra mile to give us 2 saucers of mixed spices.The food and atmosphere here delighted us but XueLi enhanced the experience further. Keep up the good work.
Chill place. Flavourful food, authentic. Lamb skewers are gooood. Glass noodles so chewy. Large portions. Ambience not that great but worth the hit nice supper place.

Our first visit to BBQ BOX. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Cassual dining environment suitable for families with young children. The meat skewers are reasonably priced and were flavourful. Would have given more stars for their food if they were not so heavily seasoned (especially the mushrooms, practically soaked in salt). Our favourite dish for that day would be the Pig ears with cucumber 🥒 😋
A nice and chill place for a late night supper. Food is of good quality and location is accessible. Recommended as a good supper spot for skewers.

Really excellent 串儿 in Geylang. Service is efficient, drinks always cold and food kept on a hit plate for your convenience. I especially right the veggies and lamb skewers but friends are infatuated with the pig brain. It serves a wide variety of customers and has the flavor to support repeat visits. Highly recommended!
The food here was awesome especially their Grilled Bread! We ordered beef and pork skewers, I like the pork better but the beef is good, too.
Smart way to have the heated box on the table to keep our meat, vege, seafood or any other skewers warm. Highly recommend the lamb ribs & pork trotters. Very flavourful and tender. Most of their meat skewers are nice and tasty too but I personally like the lamb skewers the most followed by the beef. The Grilled vegetable skewers is also very juicy when served. It goes very well with all the other dishes. Prices of skewers and most of their dishes are quite reasonable. Waitering staff are very attentive too. Overall we enjoyed our meal here and will definitely come back again from time to time to satisfy our bbq meat skewers cravings.
Am a regular at the Geylang branch and decided to check out this outlet since we are in the area. They have a bar and more food variety than the geylang's menu. Love the cold aircon and the clean toilets! Food is delicious and reasonably priced even though it's at prime location.The decorations are slightly different from the Geylang outlet and we love the ambience and vibe. Have always love their concept of having a hot pan on the table to keep your food warm. Great place to chill and eat and drink!Will definitely return and also try other outlets to see if there's any difference in the menu!
Has quite a lot of vegetarian options surprisingly as well as pan fried dumplings.I really enjoyed the grilled oyster mushroom and Bok choy.A really good choice of drinks and I really liked the sour plum drink. It was tangy yet sweet.The sweet potato with honey sauce stole the show with its crunchy exterior and soft interior.Overall, I recommend this place to vegetarians

Best skewers one can get in Singapore. It's good that there's always variety and new items to keep choices fresh. Absolutely delightful for gatherings or casual dining. The food is always fresh and tasty.
I always love this place. I dine here routinely. Sometimes hard to get a table. Amazing selection of beers!!! Also try the dumplings. Good stuff.
Food is good for the price with decent variety. Place is small and slightly cramped but well decorated. Parking is quite terrible though, especially at meal times. I recommend taking a train instead since it's less than a 5 minute walk from Beauty World MRT station
Legit blown away by the quality of food here. I never knew mushrooms could taste this good. Meat was superb as well, tender but not chewy, crisp but not overcooked, rich but not expensive. 10/10 will come again. Banger music playlist 🙂
We did a takeaway of the bbq stuff. The staff were friendly. The food were packed nicely in boxes. It was simply tasty. Very nice. The marinating and the meats were cooked to perfection. The bbq brinjal also had minced meat. We want to go back for a proper dinner some time soon.
I like the environment here. The staff are very welcoming and the service is very attentive. I especially recommend the Orleans chicken wings.
