Early dinner at 1600. Nice and peaceful. This place is usually pack and noisy during dinner time. The lamb is still as good. Cold dish is addictive . The squid is succulent . Veg a bit dry today. Dumpling filling is swimming under the skin but taste good. Some of the items was delisted . The corn sausage was a con and taste full of starch 🤭 the onigiri was nice but must eat immediately . The black pepper wings salty nothing but salty . Love the plum drink.
No rice :”( the jasmine rice is damn nice even though it 2.50 I want the rice 😢

Previously, I went to the Geylang outlet, but this time I tried the Bugis outlet for the second time. After 10 PM, there was a 50% discount. Since it was supper time, we didn't order high-end food, but the dishes were still delicious. The lamb skewers were $0.9 each (though they were average in taste), but the grilled mushrooms and grilled beef tripe were delicious. The grilled oil lettuce was also very tasty.
Food was good, partly a great idea, the service was like Berlin...dry and fast^^
The烤串is very nice with the powder . I don’t like it that they don’t separate the spicy and non spicy ones. I don’t take spicy food but they mix everything together and it was hard for me and my friend to identify which was the one we ordered. They served the pork with chilli and when I asked them about it , they said they served it alr which they didn’t . Bc my friend also ordered pork ;-; but they got me replacement but they way they talked to me was like they actually served it and they didn’t got the order wrong
All the grilled skewers are good. Grilled bread is also nice. Orleans chicken wings are nicely marinated and grilled. End your meal with the grilled pineapple which is nicely cameralised, sweet and juicy.

Good place for chuan chuan...Pricing wise it's slightly above averageFood quality is good, match the pricingAtmosphere is on point, aircon is not exactly cold but decent enough. Toilet is very clean, there's 2 toilet, so it's female friendly as most places have dirty toilet.Food wise portion is not alot, you just have to order. For guys that are slightly bigger eater, be prepared to spend about 50-100 per pax including gst, it's similar to HDL pricing.Along this street there's many other competitor shops that sell the same thing, will take time to try then out.I will return to this place again to try other dishes.Parking is a challenge, recommend to park at Bugis or national library and walk over.Best dish I would think it's the chicken wing.
affordable, delicious and good service to eat chuan chuan at this restaurant. been here to eat numerous times and always left feeling satisfied and satiated. restaurant was packed on weekend night but we got a table immediately.i personally felt that there was minimal difference between the spicy and non-spicy skewers, and the spice is quite mild. as someone who doesn’t take spice well, i would recommend to just get spicy for better flavour. do check this place out!
Average Chinese BBQ. The beef skewers on apple wood are tasty. Dishes are hit and miss. Lamb chops are too fatty and lack flavor. The vinegar spinach with peanuts was quite nice. I’d give it 3.5 stars if only google reviews would allow us to give more precise ratings! 🙂

The food is consistent, maintaining a high standard across various outlets. The staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming. However, one drawback is the noise level, making it challenging to have conversations, especially with children playing nearby in addition to the restaurant music. Despite the noise, the music adds to the overall ambiance, creating a lively atmosphere that's perfect for casual hangouts with friends!I missed their 冷面 so much though they have removed it from their menu for few years! I'm still hoping that it will appear on their menu again someday!!
Everyone knows bbq box. The best part about their biz is the consistency. Every outlet is pretty much the same standard of food.Great place for a friday night out bingeing with friends.Oh, order the squid tentacles(not the other one, TENTACLES), they are amaaahhhhhzing
Comfortable atmosphere, if want get BBQ stick really can consider just sticking to one where you know its consistent.That's why me and my cousins always come here. Its good place, price point a little high but you pay for the taste and atmosphere la. Theres quite a lot of customers but somehow it doesnt feel dirty/over crowded.If feel too heaty, can get the Liang Cha. I always drink like 3 cans cause I very easy bu zhua. Nice place for dinner and chill

Skewers 串串and 酸辣粉 were goood, but didn’t like the long beans. Wished the soups were hotter, and stayed hot for long. A perk of bbq box is the hot plate that keeps skewers warm for a while. But the price is not super worth..
Food is good and atmosphere also good. But the service for food is abit slow and toilet is abit dirty should we improved.

Went there for late dinner on Tuesday night was not crowded. Food service was fast. Food was rather good will be great if there are more selection other den bbq food.
My favourite place for BBQ skewers. All food is awesome, friendly and helpful staffs, atmosphere is fantastic. A must come place to have your bbq.
Very good array of skewers available including off cuts like innards and intestines which were also well done in terms of texture and taste. Expect to queue during peak hours but has a digital queue system.
The service and the food here was great, and the spices were really fragrant. The meat was very nicely marinated, and if you go during the afternoon the vibes are pretty chill.

Yummmms! Must order the Spicy Pumpkin Fish (comes with dongfen and enoki) and the Cold Dish Enoki! Tons of Skewers options available, taste wise okay but need more seasoning. Love it that the skewers were all kept hot! Bubble tea super shiok, pearls were soft and chewy!

Previously was at the East Coast outlet, tried the Bugis outlet this time. Did not choose any premium options (the difference was the kind of topping on the meat) but food was still good! Each stick was $1.60 on average. The waiters don’t ‘introduce’ the meats so we had to deduce ourselves if we were eating beef/pork/mutton.The mutton was very tender and we enjoyed it the most! Shishamo (fish) was also enjoyable, very nicely grilled. The bun was v generous and lightly salted, which I enjoyed. Nice vibes, got crowded after 7pm.
Bit pricy for the portion. All of their meats are well-seasoned. Premium chicken seems to be thighs while regular chicken is made of breast. Both tasted differently. Squid is alright, abit expensive for the size. Need to heat up a little while as it’s served a little cold.
A little hot in here. The food is great. Love their oysters and scallops, garlic bread!
Can skip the pig trotter. Spice is not enough and not crispy enough. Fav is mala pork skewer, chicken wing, toast bread, lala soup
First time there during lunch time, not that crowded. Like their food and they do have the BBQ plate on each table therefore the bbq skewers will place on top and food still be hot even if u eat later. Although varieties not as much but overall i will still go as it is a nice place to eat 烤串. I love their potatoes, toasted bread, 凉拌面, will go try more next time. Best to make reservation as dinner time and weekends normally fully book.

I finally have a change to try China-style grilled skewers. They serve a smorgasbord of choices - 50 type of skewers (note: I order more than 20 types of them) that served with grill-box-on-the-table. They also include other dishes, e.g. Shredded cucumbers, cold noddles, cold bean curd, etc.; and wide variety of beers (note: I took green tea instead… too many oily foods 🙃). Well, my favourite food: grilled beef tendon, baked sweet corn, grilled enoki mustard, grilled potato chips,grilled premium lab ribs and many more…The place environment is decent. But, the service is good as the staff are friendly and they are able to converse mostly Mandarin and understandable English. The orders usually take about 10 minutes waiting time which deserved a 4-star from me.
Didn’t actually come here for the skewers but actually had cravings for suan la fen! Their SLF packed a punch! Ordered some normal skewers to try and this fish soup vermicelli which was good as well. Their scallops were well seasoned.The seasoning is less saltier compared to the ones I had from other places.Would love to come back and tried their meat skewers next time.
Skewers are delicious, but waiting time can be quite bad especially during weekday dinners. Might help to call in about 30mins in advance to ask for a ticket queue.The scallops are a must order everytime we visit and the leftover chilli and oil, are great additions to a bowl of white rice.Lamb chops are tender and flavourful as well, but portion might be alittle too overwhelming for 2 pax.

On May 15, 2024, my partner and I visited BBQ Box around 5 p.m. As regular patrons, we've had 2 unfortunate experiences before, and after addressing them with the staff last year, we decided to give it another chance.This time, however, we faced the same issue again. We ordered our usual BBQ skewers and BBQ bread. Unfortunately, the BBQ bread had a raw fish taste, indicating it was cooked on a grill used for raw fish as the bread has absorbed the raw fish taste. My partner had to spit out the bread, and we immediately raised a complaint with the staff. This issue had occurred during our previous visit as well, where we had informed them that cooking bread on the same grill as raw fish could cause cross-contamination and make the food inedible.Additionally, we encountered another problem with the BBQ gizzard skewers, which we also regularly order. This time, the gizzards had a strong durian smell and taste, which was highly unusual and unpleasant. We raised this issue with the staff as well, who took the gizzards to inspect. Given that the gizzards and bread are items we frequently order, they should not have any cross-contamination with durian or raw fish.We are deeply concerned about the recurring cross-contamination issues at BBQ Box. The repeated failure to address these fundamental food safety practices not only compromises the quality of the food but also poses potential health risks to customers. We urge the management to take immediate corrective actions to ensure proper hygiene and prevent such issues from happening again, we paid for the meal and did not continue eating.As we were walking to our car after the incident, the manager and staff approached us and offered a $100 voucher as an apology. Unfortunately, we did not accept this gesture. Instead, we demanded that their higher management contact us within three days from the date of the incident. Despite the manager informing us via text that she had relayed our concerns to them, we received no response from BBQ Box's higher management.This lack of response clearly indicates that they do not care about the incident or take any action to address it.
This is my first time at this branch. Probably about 10 years? Used for. After all, mutton is delicious. In the past, people could add as much spice as they wanted, but now they don't have that freedom. Even so, I always think it's strange that even though all the skewers have the same seasoning, they never get boring.
Food is served timely and they are all very delicious. Staff are very helpful and prompt.
Second time coming here, Highly recommend the pork skewers do not recommend the chicken, the vegetables here are also very crispy and crunchy, and the staff are also very friendly. Overall highly recommend this restaurant for meat skewers.
Fun place for dinner or supper. Be careful not to order too many skewers as the cost really starts to add up! Drinks on the pricey side but really adds to the BBQ experience.

First time eating at BBQ box for classmates reunion. Manage to be allocated a hidden private room for my group of 11 at the back of shop. Food taste nicely marinated and grilled properly. Just a little bit tight on seats space as the tables should fit only 10 persons.

Was deciding between the branch in geylang or bugis. Made the right choice to come to geylang. But parking was difficult. Recommended if you drive, park at the MSCP behind the frog porridge, near kallang MRT.Food was nicely cooked, service was prompt and there was space immediately. Take the alfresco. It isn't stuffy or hot as there are overhead fans above every table. They have lighted insect repellent sticks so we weren't attacked by any mossies.
Good place with great food. Great for casual meetups with friends. Location is a bit inconvenient to get to and parking is difficult nearer to peak hours.
Wonderful dinner place with many options for everyone. Predominantly a meat place, but the potato slices and bbq vegetable are a hit with the kids too. Beers are relatively value for money when bought in pair bundle.

I suppose its this area (Geylang) that has alot of China's Chinese, the restaurant food tends to be very oily here, not the usual SG way of cooking.The 凉拌黄瓜 is so oily till i have to keep cleaning my plate and after we finished the dish, I can see at least 4-6 tablespoons of oil left in the bowl.The meat skewers are also on the salty side, doesnt align with our health promotion board campaign "Healthy eating - less oil, less salt".3 of us ordered 2 veg, 1/2 grilled fish, grilled oysters, 4 sticks of meat skewers, 3 lettuce skewers n 1 mushroom skewer + 2 beers, the bill came out to be about $135, i find it abit costly for such place
Been here few times and each time we enjoyed ourselves. Love the service of a staff name XueLi.Every time she serves, she will mentioned the name of the dish. So far only XueLi does that.Today, we visited again. As usual, she highlighted what she served to us and when I asked for extra spices on the food, she went extra mile to give us 2 saucers of mixed spices.The food and atmosphere here delighted us but XueLi enhanced the experience further. Keep up the good work.
Chill place. Flavourful food, authentic. Lamb skewers are gooood. Glass noodles so chewy. Large portions. Ambience not that great but worth the hit nice supper place.

Our first visit to BBQ BOX. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Cassual dining environment suitable for families with young children. The meat skewers are reasonably priced and were flavourful. Would have given more stars for their food if they were not so heavily seasoned (especially the mushrooms, practically soaked in salt). Our favourite dish for that day would be the Pig ears with cucumber 🥒 😋

Really excellent 串儿 in Geylang. Service is efficient, drinks always cold and food kept on a hit plate for your convenience. I especially right the veggies and lamb skewers but friends are infatuated with the pig brain. It serves a wide variety of customers and has the flavor to support repeat visits. Highly recommended!
The food here was awesome especially their Grilled Bread! We ordered beef and pork skewers, I like the pork better but the beef is good, too.
Smart way to have the heated box on the table to keep our meat, vege, seafood or any other skewers warm. Highly recommend the lamb ribs & pork trotters. Very flavourful and tender. Most of their meat skewers are nice and tasty too but I personally like the lamb skewers the most followed by the beef. The Grilled vegetable skewers is also very juicy when served. It goes very well with all the other dishes. Prices of skewers and most of their dishes are quite reasonable. Waitering staff are very attentive too. Overall we enjoyed our meal here and will definitely come back again from time to time to satisfy our bbq meat skewers cravings.
Am a regular at the Geylang branch and decided to check out this outlet since we are in the area. They have a bar and more food variety than the geylang's menu. Love the cold aircon and the clean toilets! Food is delicious and reasonably priced even though it's at prime location.The decorations are slightly different from the Geylang outlet and we love the ambience and vibe. Have always love their concept of having a hot pan on the table to keep your food warm. Great place to chill and eat and drink!Will definitely return and also try other outlets to see if there's any difference in the menu!
Has quite a lot of vegetarian options surprisingly as well as pan fried dumplings.I really enjoyed the grilled oyster mushroom and Bok choy.A really good choice of drinks and I really liked the sour plum drink. It was tangy yet sweet.The sweet potato with honey sauce stole the show with its crunchy exterior and soft interior.Overall, I recommend this place to vegetarians

Best skewers one can get in Singapore. It's good that there's always variety and new items to keep choices fresh. Absolutely delightful for gatherings or casual dining. The food is always fresh and tasty.

Food is good for the price with decent variety. Place is small and slightly cramped but well decorated. Parking is quite terrible though, especially at meal times. I recommend taking a train instead since it's less than a 5 minute walk from Beauty World MRT station
Legit blown away by the quality of food here. I never knew mushrooms could taste this good. Meat was superb as well, tender but not chewy, crisp but not overcooked, rich but not expensive. 10/10 will come again. Banger music playlist 🙂
We did a takeaway of the bbq stuff. The staff were friendly. The food were packed nicely in boxes. It was simply tasty. Very nice. The marinating and the meats were cooked to perfection. The bbq brinjal also had minced meat. We want to go back for a proper dinner some time soon.

I rarely give 5stars for google reviews but this shop deserves it. Skewers are very well marinated and grilled to perfection. Highly recommend grilled lamb rack, one of the best Chinese style grilled lamb rack you can find in Singapore.

Haven’t been here for a while. Was shocked by the standard of the food, except BBQ mutton. The pig ear is the worse in my 30+ years experience. The BBQ pork hand is even smelly.

The potato sticks and grilled originis are really really addictive. Order more sticks at 1 go for that IG pic. Beef sticks are chewy. Chicken sticks are better. Very heavy on seasoning. Smooth Chinese beer to wash all that grease down. Fun concept for group dinner. Park at the URA Centre and walk across the street.

I am very satisfied with the warm greeting of the waiter, the beer paired with the delicious food, especially Wei Zhe and Weizhi’s active service. I am very happy and will definitely come back next time.

No one really reviews on the staff here I noticed, and it’s such a shame because they’re so nice and friendly. My family and i came to have a birthday dinner (food was good too btw) and we asked the staff if we could take out our cake and eat it here. Not only did they allow us, they brought our plastic plates and spoons for us, turned off the fan for a while for the candle and even provided the lighter when ours didn’t work. Bear in mind we didn’t even ask for any of this, this was all them! Great service, thank you so much!😊

Went there for lunch on a Sunday, not crowded and no wait for a table at 12pm. Loved the food very much! Ordered a lot of the skewers and the pork jowl was my favourite. Everything was seasoned very well and very nicely.Only downside was that we ordered rice but they said they had not cooked it yet and we would need to wait 20 plus minutes for it, someone must have forgotten to switch on the rice cooker on that day hahahaha. Anyway, we requested to cancel the rice and there wasn't any issue but just a pity we couldn't pair it with rice.The bill is fairly high so be prepared, for 2 people it came up to $75 without drinks.

Always love to eat at BBQ Box Bukit Timah. I used to visit every alternate week. Because their great food taste, home taste.I am very disappointed today, the cold dish which supposed to came earlier than other dishes, ended up came so late after we finish the BBQ sticks have ordered. The hand mashed spicy cucumber was not having the right taste, the sauce was very liquid and taste was blank and too much sweet; the prawn and chives dumpling skin was too hard and all 12pcs dumpling skin was cracked, that made the dumplings tasteless.
We went there after hiking at 12pm on a Sunday and it was empty. Food was served quickly and they have a huge selection. Food tasted delicious, will visit again
Chinese style grilled meat, grilled prawns and other stuff with a China bend. Tasty and well presented. Slightly on the expensive side. Nice atmosphere for friends, a couple or a family.Their dumplings are exceptionally nice and a must try.The smashed cucumber is unique. They provide a bowl of tasty spicy sauce to dip in.Try their bottled drinks which are not so common in Singapore. Chinese Fanta Orange type of drinks ... Etc.

We used to call for delivery for so many times, this is the first time I have it in the shop, I will never call for delivery anymore! It’s supper tasty in the shop!!!
Tasty food at an affordable price for those who are on vacation for a relatively short period of time.The service from those who do not speak English, as is customary in Singapore, was negative. But whoever did speak was very helpful.Ok atmosphere, nothing out of this world. I was full.
skewers were a hit or miss, some of them were well seasoned, while others failed to cover the gaminess of the meatthe golden pumpkin soup was great and packed full of ingredients, fish slices were fresh toofood was okay for the most of the experience, though prices are very inflated.

Could be overly rated. It's my 1st visit & I must say it's a little disappointing. The name BBQ Box seems to suggest it's Forte is the BBQ, but it is totally not true. For the meat to feel even slightly warm, maybe an hour. It's totally ridiculous. Thought that the sticks of meat are pre-cooked, it is cold & hard.In fact, all other dishes somewhat taate better than the BBQ.Very high chance I will go elsewhere if I am serious about BBQ.
Food nice and not too oily as another outlet. Didn’t reserve table and there empty table for 4 pax and the waitress didn’t hesitate and allocate 2 pax of us on that table. Unlike other restaurants will wait till 4 pax only occupied that table. We order upon sit on it and food serve pretty quickly and they didn’t pressure us leave but we also don’t want occupied the place when we finish eat. They act very fast clean the table. Feel impressive their professional service. Will definitely visit again and hope they can main such great service 🙂
Food is affordable and nice!The seasoning on the skewers is just right, not too bland and not too salty. The best was the potato skewers, the potato just absorbs all the flavour!Highly recommend their pigs ear with cucumber as well as their 酸辣粉 (sour & spicy noodles)!
The staff were extremely unhelpful and rude. It was obvious that as tourists who were unable to understand the procedures, the staff were standing around seemingly making fun of us and doing nothing to assist. They may as well have thrown the food at us! Pity, as the food was tasty.

Got recommended to try BBQ Box which received quite a lot of hype for their skewers, however it was only alright 🙁 Food came out quickly but it got cold super fast 😭 The heated stove thingy was suppose to keep the food warm but it didn't help much at all 😅 The only food I would recommend would be the Eggplant 🍆 Price wise is super pricy and the skewers are quite small, does not really match the price point 😔
The food provided there is very delicious, especially the meat skewers, which are grilled just right and although a bit salty, they still taste good. I highly recommend the waiter here. When I dropped my chopsticks, the waiter immediately replaced them with new ones. This waiter is very attentive and attentive. When each of us couldn't reach the food, he carefully adjusted our seats so that everyone could reach the food. So it is very safe to dine here. Thank you to this employee, Jia Ling. Quite decent North eastern China style skewers with plenty of varieties in the menu. I like the young lamb with red switch (红柳枝羔羊), grilled pork jowl , squid tentacles, applewood beef skewers, grilled shiitake & oyster mushroom. Having the piping hot skewers accompanied by cold beer was a perfect combination !
Food standard is quite consistent with its other outlets. This outlet is smaller though.
Good BBQ skewer and good service, service crews were attentive and immediately changed beer bottles b4 opening to cold one or change chopsticks when they noticed our 🍻 bottles are warm or drop chopsticks
Not bad for BBQ sticks but pricing us quite expensive, upper Middle price. Ordered bbq mutton sticks (spicy, very nice), chicken lung (not bad), spinich with vinegar (best so far), mushrooms, and also the 酸辣粉 which turns out to be more Ma, not spicy not sour. Overall ok, ok place to hang out with friends. Hot tea can ask to add hot water.

Taste of food was passible. If you are looking for real China Chinese tasting chuan Chuan, this doesn't really come close.Cost is on the more expensive for what it is. But then again, you don't really have that many choices if this is what you want to go for in SG.
I am a regular customer of this store. The food is as delicious as ever. It is my second restaurant. You can eat with peace of mind. The store has a wide range of dishes, you can eat a lot of them, and they taste great! Super delicious! Strong Amway! !
Food is good, although can get boring after a while since the same spice is used for all the skewers.
Long queue for table. Good food and service. The BBQ sticks sprinkled with herbs, and spices are delicious. The chili chicken appetizer is a must try. Extensive Chinese menu. Pricing is reasonable. Will come again to try other dishes.

I was surprised by the quality of food, as I had been quite skeptical just by looking at the menu. Would recommend to try their spicy dishes, because they have the Sichuan-flavor. Good place to catch up with friends and drinking.Not a representative of Singapore Chinese food, but it has good Chinese food. Recommend a visit if you crave for some good spicy stuff.

The service of the food was quite fast. Found the grilled chicken and pork skewers a little more on the salty side but overall still very well seasoned. The oysters were cooked to perfection.

Current promo is every 4 bottles gets a special price so its a must to order 4 btls.Granted, they will help to replace it with a colder 1 from their fridge (frm picture, its just a small fridge) but the turnaround wont be able to match the bottles to be cold.I'm someone who goes for Cold beer and because of this beer system, i wont be going back.Service was good tbh, the skewers were also nice.Prawns were fresh and the Mala chicken wings was nice also.
Usually had the ala carte. Ordered the 2 pax bbq set this time round. Quite disappointing. The portion of the cucumber cold dish (mixed with vinegar and chilli oil) was way too much, steamed dumpling 12 pcs was normal, not hot when served. 2 x Drinks at $4- we had only iced water 😏 The grill doesn’t seems to work well, supposed to keep the bbq items warm but did not. Have to wait >30mins for the grilled eggplant; they have missed this item and it was served only after we reminded them a second time. Used to be our preferred outlet in pre-covid days. Not now, it was a Tuesday and the whole place was noisy and crowded.
Food was good, but really salty. Price was decent, we ended up spending around 28 per pax and left super full. Went around 7+ on a weekday and didn't have to wait for long before seated.I would really recommend the beef tendon it was one of my favourite ones!
A quaint little Chinese restaurant selling grilled meats with mala sauce. The mala is not at all numbing and spicy so I guessed they localised it to local flavours. Service was very fast and some meats are quite exotic such as pork brain (grilled?!), pork ears and pork tongues. We over ordered as we were all ordering separately on our phones. The beef stripe was quite good.
I was so impressed with my dinner this evening! I tried the barbecue stick, beef, chicken and lamb, fried potatoes, Mala sour soup noodle , scallops is yummlicious and my group of friends got the watermelon juice drink is fantastic. We both finished our whole plates/sticks of barbecue and were so impressed with the quality of the food and the short amount of time it took to receive it. As before we entered we only table but after that starting crowds. Our waitress was sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back

Bought 10 sticks each of lamb & pork skewers to take-out, totalling near $30.Young lady cashier was rude, unmotivated to even lift a finger, let alone eager to serve.When I opened up the takeaways skewers for dinner, what I found to my horror appears like leftover meat from a dog's dinner.All disposable wooden skewers sticks were removed & tiny, dark clumps of meat were dumped into a paper box, looking like messy small meat clumps leftover from a dog's dinner.Find it revolting & most flabbergasted to say the least.My hungry appetite instantly turned to nausea & couldn't bring myself to eat anything throughout the evening.
First time visiting this outlet. They served our bread without sugar a few times but that was quickly corrected. The waiters, though, were extremely nice and friendly. They let us keep birthday cake in the fridge, brought it out when we asked and even brought serving plates without having to ask. They also wished my friend happy birthday a few times, so nice right 🥹 birthday girl also got a $5 no min spend return voucher... 10/10 service ! Will come to this outlet over others

Asked staff about the above birthday promotion for new sign-ups. Was told that the only restrictions were 1 month validity and we could use one voucher at a time. I asked if we could use it immediately today upon signing up, and staff said yes.After we paid the membership fee and finished our meal, we proceeded to payment and was told that there was a minimum spend of $100 required that is NOT on the information slip above. The cashier was the same staff who had advised us earlier, so clearly she was omitting vital information when advising us on the promos earlier.Very unethical practice as these fine print should be present on all marketing material.
Food quality has dropped. Lamb skewers quite fatty. Pan fried dumplings shrank. Some skewers can be bland on some days
The food here is very good, staff are responsive and helpful. The grilled pork intestine here is the best in my opinion! I won't leave before having 10 skewers of that.Of course you can get the same or better quality food they offer for much lesser price in China, but I think in Singapore context the price is ok.For those who drive, there's a basement parking at the next building. But it's abit expensive.

Very nice china bbq! Great atmosphere with great food and friendly staff. The cold spinach and grill chicken is one of my favourites!The skewers are also very nice and each have their own unique taste.The grilled pork intestine also very crispy and easy to eat.They even provide small bottles of mouthwash in the toilet so feel free to even eat the foods with garlic and vinegar as you can gargle out the smell after eating. The mouthwash is very hygienic too as its meant for 1 person usage.
One of my favorite places to eat skewers. Great food. Nice decoration. Good service.Is not the cheapest place to eat, but for now and then or to catch up with friends and 🍺 is great!
Food was incredible, the service staff was super sweet and the food came out quickly. Found it really easy to keep ordering on the app as well. Ambience and aesthetic is really pleasant.We would recommends: the beef skewers, oyster and shiitake mushroom skewers, potato skewers, dumplings in chilli oil and spinach in vinegar.Mutton was a bit gamey so will skip next time but flavour was still good. Prefer the main meat over the Japanese menu options.
A great place for barbecue and beer. The environment is great. The service is very friendly. They always pay attention to what we need. We will come back next time.

Spicy mala flavours are always on point and bring out the authenticity; but at the same time a sophisticated customer can appreciate their infusion of modern elements in traditional dishes. BBQ Box has a good vibe, friendly staff, fast services and the best drinks. Definitely try their mushroom bbq; you won’t see mushrooms the same.
Never knew that 串烧can be so delicious. Must be the seasoning they use. Items all go well with beer which is a big plus.Stand out items for me are the lamb, potato, mushrooms and sweet corn skewers.Ambience and service are better than what I was expecting, though it was on a mid afternoon so there were only a few tables.Good choice for gathering over food for sharing.

The food was quite nice, scallops on the shell were really good. Beef and mutton were a bit on the tougher side but otherwise everything was pretty good.
Highly recommend to come here with Eatigo on weekdays as there is up to 50% discount. Otherwise the price may be a bit steep.Really enjoyed the skewers here as they are all flavourful. Cozy and nice ambience and free mouth wash were also provided in the washroom.
Food was good and wait times were not too bad. The service was ok, although with the various people we tried to speak with didn’t seem to understand English so we had to keep speaking with the front of house to ask our questions. The food ordering process is all done online with a local menu showing which items there are to order. A lot of items didn’t correspond to what was on the online menu which made it difficult. The user interface of the menu ordering system is somewhat to be desired and not very well laid out. Could be made much simpler in my opinion. Food was good, the skewers were nice, bbq squid and lamb rib were all delicious. Thought it might just be bad luck with the first visit, but the second visit was just as tough for ordering items especially when half the waiting staff can’t communicate when asked a simple question. Ok as an experience but it could be that other bbq box restaurants are better in different locations.

Chinese-style bbq skewers (烧烤）on a Friday night. Beef and mutton skewers were well-marinated with cumin spice, and with a good amount of fat-to-meat ratio. Grilled bread is tasty and sweet too. Skewers are on the slightly pricier side, around $1.80 for the meat skewers.

the food and service was okay at first but when we were going to make payment, on my side, the payment went through but on their side, it didn’t go through so i was confuse. He said " it is not our problem it’s your problem it didn’t go through so you need to pay again” and it was in a rude tone. After paying and confirming when we would get back, one of them said tomorrow, one said tonight. After thinking, we went back to ask again, so is it tomorrow or tonight get back, he said " cannot be tonight mah, we close at 3am " then my friend said his service attitude was really bad and he said " actually i think my service ok, if not can i know which part of it was rude "his tone was very rude in general, like as a manager , his basic service of customer is not that. like we clearly don’t spend as much as the other customer but we are still paying customer.

Initiation to these delicious BBQ skewers! Most of the grilled skewers were well-seasoned & I particularly like the grilled prawns & potato slices. The orange sauce that came with the Taiwanese popcorn chicken was sweet & tangy. Some items were really spicy, eg. Rice noodle with clams in tin foil. 🥵The set menu is a good choice for first-timers if u have a big group & wanna try a few of their signatures. Interesting concept and pretty good food for a good price. Order skewers of different meats or vegetables and they will put it on the covered grill for the food to always stay warm as you eat your meal. Would recommend the lamb and beef skewers, as well as the enoki mushrooms wrapped in bacon. You can order however much you plan to eat, so the portioning is perfect for both small and big eaters. Don’t bother getting the noodles, they are not worth the price nor space, it was small, just tasted salty and the noodles were not well cooked either. The place is well located in Clarke quay and it’s pretty spacious inside too. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was Halloween so the place was decorated as such.

We filled our tummies with all the good stuff here!!! One of the best chinese skewers!! The skewers dont have the typical china spice powder (turmeric) which really suited our singaporean tastebuds.Highly recommend the seafood in the pot soup thing not exactly sure what its called but i think i had 2 of those on my own and also the grilled mantou omg please stop i cannot my buds gonna explode i keep eating non stop ok
Great atmosphere to chill and watch people walk by! Beers are kinda expensive given that you are paying Clarke Quay prices for China beers but at least the food is good! They have a wide range of skewers and interesting dishes to try! Service is fast and fuss free. It gets crowded on Fri sat nights so make reservations! And try to sit by the glass panel at the entrance!
Flagship store. Always wanted to visit. A better environment and better menu. Food still as good. Love that they have happy hour dishes and beer. Love to come again.
